Biography:
Null-class Advanced Recon Commando (ARC) Troopers were a special breed of clone trooper created during the early days of the Clone Wars. Distinct from the later Alpha-class ARC Troopers, the Nulls were the first attempt to create elite, independent-thinking soldiers for the Grand Army of the Republic.
Only six Null ARCs were successfully created: Ordo, A-77 (Fordo), Prudii, Jaing, Null-11 (assigned the name N-11), and Mereel. They were trained extensively by Mandalorian warrior Kal Skirata, who became a father figure to them. Due to genetic mutations and experimental growth acceleration techniques, the Nulls exhibited greater physical strength, enhanced senses, and a fiercely independent spirit compared to standard clone troopers.
Initially considered failures due to their disobedience, the Nulls proved their worth through exceptional performance on critical missions. They often operated independently of standard command structures, demonstrating initiative and tactical acumen beyond their programming. Their unique personalities and close bond with Skirata set them apart, challenging the Republic's perception of clone troopers as mere tools of war.
Following Order 66, the Nulls continued to operate with Skirata, often siding with the Mandalorian clans and defying the newly formed Galactic Empire.
